KACDE is a not-for-profit organization whose primary function is to help develop, promote, and strengthen conservation districts and their programs in the state of Kentucky.  The Association's governing body is an Executive Committee and Board of Representatives consisting of elected officers and area representatives. 

KACDE GOALS

  • To Assist in strengthen local conservation districts and their programs

  • To provide assistance to local boards of supervisors and employees of Soil and Water Conservation Districts

  • To assist any agency, association, group, organization, municipality, or individual who, in the spirit of cooperation, share the same common goals of proper landuse and conservation

  • To promote, create, and work to improve the efficiency of operations in SWCD offices

  • To provide a vehicle for personal development of the organizational members and district employees and to assist them in preparing to execute their duties

KACDE COLORS

KACDE's colors are royal blue and yellow.  We associate Royal Blue with being strong, steady, solid, and loyal, which we as district employees strive to be.  We associate yellow with being bold, powerful, and bright.  We want to be strong employees with a bright and positive attitude and we want to make a difference in the world.
